For many, what is real is interpretation, and that interpretation is more often than not the result of some media they encountered; whether that media be the television news, a newspaper, a magazine, a religious text, a book, a film, or the voice of some assumed authority. They are all secondhand. Rarely is that interpretation the result of deep personal inquiry, investigation, and insight. ...

The problem is the story was always a lie. The earth always did have limits they were just beyond our sights. And now we are hitting those limits on multiple fronts. I believe that we know this. Yet We find ourselves trapped in a kind of narrative loop. Not only do we continue to tell and retell the same tired stories but we are now doing so with a kind of frenzy and a fury that frankly...
